MHA EOC Activation Level

Monday, November 3 2025

11/2/25 1300 hours: The MHA EOC has moved to Level 2 Activation, and per directive of the Tribal Business Council, is now coordinating MHA Nation’s response to the food access issue stemming from the suspension of SNAP Program Services funding and potentially soon to follow other services provided to vulnerable population groups from the ongoing U.S. Government Shutdown.
Our first Operational Period Briefing for the MHA Nation “Bridge to Aid Incident Response” will be tomorrow morning at 9:30 am.
After this briefing, more information will be provided to the public on the planning and operations that will be implemented, as well as a schedule for public information.
This incident response will prioritize all households who recieve and rely on the SNAP Program on the Ft. Berthold Reservation, including our off-reservation enrolled members.
This information will be disseminated via all these methods: tribal email, social media, radio, newspaper, and if needed, via wireless alert. The MHA EOC will be the official source of information for this response. We ask for the public’s support to help share information as it’s released.
We understand there are a lot of questions and concerns right now from the community: those families directly affected, and those who want to know how they can help. That information will be provided tomorrow morning after our briefing.
